HDPE vs PP Mesh Bags: What to Compare
HDPE and polypropylene mesh-bag strength cannot be ranked from polymer names alone. Yarn dimensions, weaving or knitting, bag weight, seams and closure influence performance. Compare representative bags at the same working load and document lifting, stacking and handling results. Confirm relevant food-contact evidence separately from mechanical strength.

Material does not determine the whole bag
HDPE and PP describe polymers, not a finished-bag load test. Construction, yarn geometry, seams, additives and handling conditions all affect the result.
Use comparable performance tests
Compare bags at the same intended filled load. Inspect seam failure, elongation, lifting behavior and stacking. Ask the supplier to explain its test method and acceptance criteria.
Check documentation separately
Mechanical strength is not food-contact approval. Request the declarations appropriate to the intended food, contact conditions and destination, and confirm the exact resin and colorant formulation.
