Tubular vs Flat Packaging Net: Choosing a Format
Tubular net is an open mesh tube that can surround a product or be closed into a pack. Flat net is supplied as a sheet or web for wrapping or integration into another pack. Check the actual construction rather than the name alone.

Start with the pack shape

Compare closure and equipment
A tubular roll needs suitable expansion, winding and closure settings. A flat web may need a seam or supporting packaging. Provide your equipment details and trial the complete pack before bulk approval.
Specify dimensions clearly
State whether width means lay-flat tube width, flat web width or expanded diameter. Include mesh opening, linear or area weight, roll length and tolerances. Do not substitute one width measurement for another.
